Beautiful sunsets and wonderful location
Reviewed on 2024-12-13 by , Kailua, HI United StatesWe enjoyed our 5 night stay it was a great location close to the beach and walking trails.Poipu beach was excellent with the island to swim to and great for snorkeling with lots of fish to see. The turtles would return to sunbath and rest on the beach near the end of the day. We saw monkseals on the beach as well.Great restaurants are near by.<br/>The only drawback for the condo is that they need a new mattress for the bed.And a new toilet as it doesn't flush well.The beach chairs are dirty and bent.Having 4 beach towels would be beneficial as some people travel with carry on luggage and don't have room to take would be nice to add a brita water jug in your kitchen as well.<br/>We appreciated the starter coffee and butter.Although it was mentioned that starter shampoo, conditioner and laundry soap would be was not.All and all a cute place to stay. <br/>Beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the room!<br/>Mahalo ♡

Very nice condo

Condo itself is very nice. Doesn't have air conditioning but the tradewinds made it very comfortable. Just an FYI-It is on the 3rd floor and their isn't an elevator so might be a challenge for some. The pool was an awesome addition and we definitely took advantage of it. The grounds were lovely. Would definitely stay here again!!
Best bang for your buck!

You can't get any better for location, views and price staying in any of these units! This time we stayed for 16 nights and brought our two younger children with us. The unit is a one bedroom but served it's purpose with a pull out couch in the Livingroom. Please note that the unit has no dishwasher, laundry or air conditioning. However, we took turns washing dishes and there is a laundry mat downstairs if needed. No air conditioner is needed as there is lots of air flow with the trade winds. The view is amazing and looks over Prince Kuhio Park, very small quiet complex, quaint, beautiful tropical lush gardens, pool is on the cooler side as I don't believe it is heated but the kids didn't mind. Great beach in walking distance with snorkeling and best spot to watch sunsets on the island. Bed was very comfortable and sheets were soft. Grounds were very well maintained and the gardens were stunning. BBQ area is a fun spot to hang out and have drinks and a meal. Lots of shopping within a 5 minute walk at the roundabout with restaurants. All in all an amazing vacation! Definitely stay in the South of the island for your vacation to Kauai and if you want the best bang for your buck, The Prince Kuhio is your best option!

The best part of the condo is its location, it is within walking distance to beaches, shopping and restaurants. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. The space is tight for 4 people and balcony is very small and not usable for sitting outside.

This is a real gem with stunning ocean and mountain views from the lanai that backs up onto historical Prince Kuhio Park, a lush, quiet open space that meets the ocean. Spend your mornings sipping coffee on the lanai. Take a stroll down the lane to the Shops at Kukuiula, or walk across the street to one of the top snorkeling beaches on Kauai, Lawai Beach. There is a popular surf-break just off the point where you can try your hand at surfing, or just watch the local talent as they ride the waves in.
Enjoy relaxing by the newly renovated pool, surrounded by lush, tropical gardens and a beautiful lava rock waterfall. Have a sunset cocktail or dinner at the famed Beach House restaurant, just across the street. If you prefer to cook, the kitchen is fully equipped and there is a wonderful barbecue area onsite. Relax and take in the beautiful tropical gardens surrounding the property, including the Japanese koi pond!
