Pali Ke Kua 15 [1]
No air-Not fair!
Reviewed on 2024-06-18 by , Damascus, OR USNo air conditioning in the upstairs bedroom made sleeping unbearable. We had to take cold showers every night and have three fans on us to be able to sleep. Other than that, it was OK.
Great Location, Subpar Condo
Reviewed on 2024-06-10 by , Irvine, CA USThis condo is in major need of some work. The photos are accurate, so I knew it was not updated. I did not anticipate the musty smell, multiple cockroaches, excessive heat (without an ac unit in the bedroom), lizard droppings on the kitchen counters, and dirty carpets. Our extended family also rented another condo in the same complex, and the difference was stark.
What a perfect vacation

I've been to Kauai many times and Pali Ke Kua is my favorite. Not crowded, very quiet and has everything one needs on a magnificent vacation spot.
It has a pool, restaurant, and it's own beach yet very private.
Fantastic location!
Reviewed on 2023-04-14 by Karla P. , Sisters, OR USThe condo was comfortable, roomy, and a great location. We would definitely stay here again (and hope to)!
Great Escape

Princeville condo

A nice place.
Reviewed on 2021-09-11 by , Union, WA USThe slider door out to the Leni is almost inoperable. One of the large glass doors came off the track more than once. Pretty dangerous if it were to fall. I seriously doubt this could be opened easily by an average person.
Most of the fans in the unit are old, noisy, dirty, & two of them didn’t work at all. An older, rechargeable flashlight was left plugged in the upstairs bathroom. Found it to be VERY HOT upon arrival so it was left unplugged. That is major fire hazard as is the plug strip next to the bed.
The directions to the cable / TV are outdated & wrong for the system in place now. TV although newer, has big vertical white spots throughout the picture. Not that we spent much time watching TV, but it needs to be addressed.
Multiple bulbs / fixtures are in-op throughout the unit. (Kitchen, downstairs bath, upstairs, etc.)
It would have been nice to know this is NOT a single level unit in advance. Not noted in Vrbo...
In this day & age, a ductless A/C unit or two would be a very attractive addition to unit.
Just so you know, I’m a retired firefighter & have my own rental properties. We enjoyed the grounds, pool & surrounding area. Hope this review helps you and others.

Vacation 2021
Reviewed on 2021-08-14 by vanessa h. , Aptos, CA USWe enjoyed our stay at Pali Ke Kua but we did experience several problems. The toilet seat slid around on the bowl; this can dangerous! You could not lock the back door; it is a good thing that there were not any robbers around the complex! We also did not have a pool key for several days but this problem was taken care of. We truly enjoyed our stay but these details should be taken care! We will return to the complex and stay again!
Pali Ke Kua 15 Feb 25 to Mar 17 2020
Reviewed on 2020-04-04 by , United StatesThe unit was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. A few days the upstairs bedroom got warm in the afternoon through the early evening, but by the time we went to sleep it was cool enough using the fans to draw in the outside air. Great location with a mountain view and a 1 minute walk to the cliff for a spectacular ocean view. The grounds are well maintained and it was fairly quiet. The price was a great value. We would definitely rent this unit in the future.
