Fabulous! Spacious and private and breezy...we just had the best time. We were all working, so we took advantage of the wifi . The walks on the fantastic beach were our favorite part of the week. The sunsets were memorable. Nice to have a great doctor in Princeville (we needed that). such a great last hurrah for our 93 year old Mom...she loved it!

The property met all of our needs. The proximity to the beach was nice as well as the covered porch which allowed us to remain outside even during a brief rainstorm. All appliances were in good working order and the kitchen allowed us to make several meals at home. Restaurants and shopping in Hanalei were within a 10-15 minute walk of the property.

Amazing location - just steps from the beach, lanai has beautiful view. Minutes from town. Clean. Lots of beach equipment. Only small negative - bathroom in cottage is tiny. Great place for family.

We loved the plantation home. It was idyllic. Some upgrades are needed,such as the dishwasher.
Of note, the cleaning and prep of the small guest cottage left something to be desired. Upon arrival, the counters were dirty, and the foor and rug were grimey. The curtains were stained and dirty-looking. Unfortunate, because that was special occasion for the couple staying there.

We loved the location!! The pictures & description were perfectly accurate. The property is dated but clean & everything worked properly. Boogie boards, umbrellas & beach accessories included- very nice. Check in & out were explained well & done with ease. Hoping to return!!

Location was phenomenal. Property manager was incredibly helpful and responsive to any needs. The house itself had fairly lower grade amenities for the price point (ex: toaster didn’t work, washer/dryer are all rusty, place hasn’t been deep cleaned under beds and other areas where you could see noticeable build up).
Overall, the location and management were excellent. Just not the usual high quality cleanliness and items provided for that high of a nightly rate is all. But we were there to be feet from

Hanalei Bay is paradise

The property is located near the parking lot and adjacent to side road, so you hear cars. But right in center of the bay. Easy to get into town and get to each river on either side of bay. Loved the bicycles provided and all the beach toys, like boogie boards. No A/C, but the location and waterfall views make up for it. Ocean is farther than it looks in pictures, but home is beach front, as just a grass park area between you and the sand. Enjoyed feeding the birds and paddle-boarding the bay and rivers. Garden is lush with awapuhi, plumeria and star fruit.

Grandpaarents, kids and grandkids all have fun and relaxation at this beautiful location and house. The house had a lot of character and the studio cabin was perfect for napping young grandkids. Landscaping was beautiful and the large trees in the park made for lots of shade. Close access to the beach was a plus making travel to other beaches unnecessary. We are booking again next year. Make sure the gas does not run out the last night.

We have stayed in several homes on Hanalei Bay and this one did not disappoint. The home, itself, is excellent, with a great porch, lawn and view of the ocean. We love having a game table, too. The kitchen and bathrooms are great, and the back cottage is spacious, offering extended families (like ours) to configure sleeping arrangements that work for everybody.
The only downside to this home is that the bedrooms in the main house are on the road that leads to the beach. It is not a busy road, by any means, but on a Saturday night that we were there, a group arrived in the dark and played loud music for several hours. If you are a light sleeper and plan to be there over the weekend, this may impact you. There also is no cubby or shelving in one of the showers. Totally unimportant, but of note.

I can't say enough about Oceanfront Realty International they went above and beyond to accommodate us with any issue we had. This property is well stocked with anything we needed, clean and well maintained. Loved having the bikes and all the beach stuff. We did go on a great Holo holo boat charter that was on other side of island, which with road closure to Hanalei made it a bit challenging but we love Hanalei so we tried to stay put most of the time. This is a great property for a family vacation.
