We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. It met all our needs. We loved watching the turtles every day too! The condo was very clean as well. Management was great to work with as well.

The location is great, close to many places and has a wonderful ocean view. The property is fairly well maintained and the landscaping is very nice. However, the property has not been updated in decades. The unit was not in good condition, broken entrance door knob and door that wouldn't close, lanai sliding door that wouldn't slide,
grimy glassware, dirty floors (our feet were black),no grab bars or non slip mat in the tub/shower, minimal furniture with stained upholstery. It just needed a lot of basic maintenance to update it and make it appear well worth the rental cost and many messages about keeping the unit clean. We have owned just down and across the road since 1993 and the rental cost and conditions made our maintenance fees seem like a bargain.

Best news was that the AC in the bedroom and the separate unit in the living room WERE GREAT! We turned the units off when we left and they would cool the rooms very quickly upon our return. The balcony overlooked the water and was very nice. The unit could use another chair as we had to move one of the two dining chairs over to the desk to be able to do any work and then always scoot it back to eat. The room was very quiet and we were there on New Years Eve when there were many firecrackers.

This was a great stay. The photos are reliable and describe the view well. The small cove just to the west is full of fish and has relatively easy access into the water. Parking can be tight after dark on a weekend. A larger dining table would be an improvement. Very pleased overall.

Love Kauai. Very nice place. Great stay. Only issue would be to look at the locking system of the sliding door to the patio. Suite is on the fourth floor so risk is low but would be good to be able to secure door at night/when out. Thanks!

This is our 4th stay in this building and it's because of this location. The condo was great, the management co was responsive. If you are expecting the Ritz Carlton(and Ritz prices),this is not it. It is a nice, comfortable, clean, condo with amazing views!

The condo was nice and there was a wonderful view. We were missing a few items, but they were quickly replaced when asked for, except we asked for a baking pan and was given a box of snap ware. Not a huge deal though. The air conditioner in the bedroom was not working and was not fixed during our 9 day stay. The pull out couch was not very comfortable either, a little thicker of a mattress would have been nice so that you didn’t feel the bars or have a downward slant. The king size bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the kitchen and dining area.

Kuhio Shores 401 was an absolute gem of a place. It had everything we needed, was very clean and view couldn't be beat. Loved being on the end, as our bedroom had a great view and cross breeze.

We loved sitting on the balcony and watching the family of turtles, then walking over to the Beach House for sunset.

This is our second stay at Kuhio Shores, this time in a smaller condo. The condo was comfortable and had everything we needed. The best part is sitting on the balcony and watching for sea turtles in the bay below. Quiet, well kept, near many beaches.

We paid over $325/night for this condo and were extremely disappointed. The owners of this condo apparently are all about making money and have no pride in ownership. In short, it was a dump. The fixtures were cracked, the countertops stained, drawers missing huge chunks of wood, the faucet dripped, the patio furniture was broken and rusted, the bed very uncomfortable, the shower flow almost nonexistent, and I could go on and on. We felt like we were totally ripped off. We would never rent at Kuhio Shores again.
