This house was perfect to accommodate our family of 10 on our trip to Kauai. We did not feel crowded at all. Loved the pool, spa and patio. The location is excellent!

As A family of 8 that likes to have space, we really enjoyed staying at Hale La'ela'a. Lots of space. Even a few of the closets had beds in them that had we had small children would have been great. The pool and hot tub were wonderful after playing in the waves or hiking all day. Great placement for back yard entertaining in the evening when one has had enough sun the pool, hot tub, and grill are in the shade. Also loved that there are no close houses to deal with. Management was very helpful taking care of problems that cropped up from before our visit. (The refrigerator had broken before we got there but when they received the part it was taken care of and the replacement option taken away.) The only thing we had trouble with, which wouldn't always be a problem for others, was the kitchen could be better stocked with cooking dishes, utensils, dry cloths, washcloths, ect.
Still very usable for most part, or if you just need the basics, but we as a family who cooked together every evening a few more things would have made this smoother.
All in all we loved our vacation, and loved the house, would definitely consider renting again.

The location was beautiful and wonderful, the grounds were kept well. The walls were very dirty on the inside of the house, which gave it a general field of uncleanliness. In addition, all of the fabric furniture had spots on it, which also gave it a bit of an ick feeling. The beds were OK, a little on the hard side. Overall, it was just hard to get the temperature right, it was either too cold, or too humid.. It was great being in Hawaii, and I am grateful that you opened up your home to us.

this was a very disappointing rental. the furniture is very worn, many things were broken, upstairs TV didn't work, smoke detectors were disconnected with wires hanging from the ceiling, sinks that didn't drain, light bulbs out, broken sliding doors and screens, carpet that hadn't been cleaned in years, windows that wouldn't stay open or wouldn't open at all. we stayed for three weeks and were only given introductory bottles of shampoo etc. we were then supposed to buy our own. there was a washer and a dryer but neither worked that well and it took many many hours to dry a full load and the wash came out smelling like it had never been washed. The property management was very attentive but I hated to have to call them for everything from extra toilet paper and dish soap to hanger for the closets. there were no beach chairs, umbrellas or biggie boards, we had to call to get the propane for the BBQ filled, I would definitely NOT recommend this house!

This home fit our needs perfectly. We found the house as advertised. The pool and hot tub were clean and ready to use. Updates, including air conditioning were a welcomed addition. We were able to get in a couple of hours early, which was much appreciated. We would rent this property again.

AC in ALL rooms (the description says only 2 rooms) Small pool but functional. 3 kings, 2 doubles, and 3 additional twin beds in the bedrooms. Mattress is okay but firm, the pillows are awful. Garage is locked off for the Owner. The home could use a little TLC, i.e. oil the screen door tracks. We had an issue for the propane (no hot water for a day) but Taren, the agent, was very responsive and prompt getting it fixed. I highly recommend the home.

Large home worked well for our trip! We had two families of four and another couple - there was plenty of space and bathrooms. One thing that the description does not specify is that there are two additional twin beds in private areas in the home, which worked really well so our teenaged kids could each have their own room. Great location - Po'ipu Beach is great - sea turtles on the shore line every evening. Just a few steps from the house and you can see an amazing sunset every night. The house could use a deep clean and some minor repairs - I think it is corporately owned so it is missing some tender loving care. That said, it was still a great house for us.

I have mixed reviews with our rental experience. The house had plenty of space and we liked the layout and location. It was quiest and the area was beautiful. This is the first time we have rented a house to stay in while on vacation. The house is old and very outdated which didn't bother us, however, it wasn't very clean. Upon entrance, everything looked great until we started noticing how unclean it was. In the kitchen there was so much grease on the stove hood and cupboard doors. The pots, pans, cutting boards, utinsils should have been tossed out a long time ago. It was actually disgusting. There was so much debris under and behind the nightstands. The bedskirt in the main floor master was so dirty along with the lamp shades. The garage was a mess and couldn't park in it. The back patio had bunched up leaves and weeds. We had to clean it before we could use it. The pictures of the pool and hot tub were so inviting but very underwhelming once there. Only two people could fit in the pool at a time. That's not too big of a deal, however, the hot tub was filthy and broken. It looked like it hadn't been used for some time. It was disappointing to think there were these amenities for use but unable to use them. It's false advertisment. We reported our concerns and the property management didn't seem to care. No one came to look at what our complaints were. They sent a pool person to clean the hot tub but it was still broken. Our fridge went out and they sent a small replacement which was better than nothing. They refunded 10% which we haven't seen yet. I left some clothing items in the dresser (my fault for not checking before leaving) I asked if they could send them to me and if I pay postage. They said there was nothing left there. So I am out a couple hundred dollars for that. It was frustrating and I will never rent a home again. I feel the reviews were fake.

The house was very nice, comfortable, clean and lots of room. Backyard could’ve used some cleaning. We pulled weeds and swept up. Jacuzzi did not work and when we notified nothing was done. Great location. Peaceful. Would definitely stay again.
