Nice but needs updating
Reviewed on 2025-02-13 by , Oxnard, CA USThe location is great and facilities are nice. The condo we stayed in has a separate bedroom which works great for us. However, there were many things that need to be improved.

Immediately we found that one of the sinks didn't work and had a faucet that needed to be replaced quite a while ago and wasn't. It would be helpful to have black out curtains too in the bedroom.

There was little privacy in the kitchen area as there are no blinds or curtains. Excellent Stay and Value
Reviewed on 2025-02-08 by Elliott F. , Irvine, NA UnknownThe 1 negative: property mgmt (NOT affiliated w/ owner). My partner has a significant health issue & medical canibis presrcip (legal in Hawaii). An elderly neighbor objected to us using the DESIGNATED smoking area and made a false accusation about using this medicine on the balcony. The Prop mgr's rep took sides, tried to charge us twice for parking (until I proved I had paid upon check-in) and made several negative comments about us being a gay couple.
A terrific stay overall! The unit was awesome: ocean view, breezy & sunny, front & back balconies, super clean, fully stocked for cooking, nice extras (beach towels & chairs, w/d in unit) & part of a beautiful complex in a great location. Oceanfront Realty (owners) were terrific communicators, incl forewarning us of a storm and road closure that saved us time/hassle. Very considerate. This property was a solid value & had nice amenities (2 jacuzzi tubs, pool, cliff chairs overlooking the ocean, book exchange, etc.).

The 1 negative: property mgmt (NOT affiliated w/ owner). Disappointed in Paradise
Reviewed on 2023-11-25 by , Thornton, CO United StatesThe grounds were beautifully kept. The view was lovely. There was construction going on in some of the areas so it was a little hectic and hard to maneuver in parking lot. As for the condo, it needs serious updating. For the price, I expected a 5 star hotel experience. Rusty kitchen appliances, corroded towel bars and shower heads. Fan in dining area broke had to call maintenance (it’s so old and noisy should be replaced) Appeared to be clean until you really started looking around. Just not a lot of care. Paper towels and glass cleaner would have been nice to have! Old and yellowed walls and electrical sockets, kitchen wallpaper coming down (with all the humidity probably not a good decor choice). The room overall dull and dingy. Furniture was ok. Keylock battery went dead so keycards wouldn’t work. Had to call maintenance to come replace. Also battled ants for 3 days and nothing was even on the counters. Perhaps if they used some cocking under the kitchen windowsill it would help the big gap where the tile ends. Lighting on patio corroded and ready to fall off. Constant maintenance and replacement needed in this climate, not just a cleanup after each guest. Definitely off the beaten path from all activities. Found ourselves driving to other side of island (an hour each way) for restaurants, shopping, etc.
Enjoyed our stay
Reviewed on 2023-04-04 by , United StatesThe location was perfect! had a great ocean view which we enjoyed from the kitchen and front room. Condo was clean and spacious. Property management was professional. Cons:oven didn't work.
Very nice
Reviewed on 2023-03-30 by , Irvine, NA UnknownIncredible experience in a very nicely located, spacious condominium. The pool and hot tub were extra nice for the kids. We took advantage of the free bike rental. The two bathrooms were a big plus. The oceanfront realty international property management company was immediately responsive to our needs and concerns. During our stay, the microwave stopped working, and we were provided with a nice, brand-new microwave the same day. The only improvement recommended (and it would be expensive) would be an upgraded kitchen (because we love to cook)-the refrigerator was old/rusty; the cabinetry (kitchen and bathrooms) seems to be from the time the condo was originally built. With those upgrades, the condo would go from being great to spectacular! Nonetheless, we had a great experience!
Dated but clean unit
Reviewed on 2022-07-11 by , Chicago, IL United StatesThis unit was clean, but substantially dated. Furniture was old, fridge rusty on the outside. Nice, but modest comfort.
Less than expected especially for the price
Reviewed on 2022-06-08 by David B. , Bridgton, ME USOverall, the unit did not meet my expectations.
When i arrived the floor had grit on it, had not been cleaned prior to my arrival. The unit had sink faucets that leaked onto the countertop when on, in the bathroom and wet bar. The sliding door would not lock. Overall the particular unit was sub or to expectations.

Overall, the unit did not meet my expectations.
The Cliffs
Reviewed on 2022-05-19 by , Encinitas, CA USWe had a great vacation at this property. There are many benefits to this property and those are its location. There are ocean views from the balcony in the front and we loved spending our breakfasts out here just gazing at the ocean. Watching sunset is just a short walk out to the cliffs where chairs are set up. We were comfortable during our stay and if you open both the sliders, there is a great cross breeze and the lack of AC isn't an issue at all. The downside of this property is it is very dated and this could be a spectacular property if updates to kitchen/bathroom were done as well as higher end furniture. Again this wasn't an issue, but want people to know that this unit is dated. The biggest issue with this property though is one of the sliders doesn't lock. We arrived to the property with that slider unlocked. The other slider locks but you have to use Hulk strength to pull it closed to latch. I did inform the property rental company so hope that will be resolved for future stays. So, no valuables should be left unattended in this unit until that is fixed. Check out and check in was super easy with the lockbox right at the unit.
Nice location in Princeville
Reviewed on 2021-07-06 by , Maple Grove, MN USThe condo was very clean and exactly as pictured. The living room and dining area’ s furnishings are dated, but that was not as important as the great location. The condo was very spacious and the view from the rear lanai lent to a beautiful sunset. The only issue we had was at times the front door was very difficult to lock. We found that it took a special technique.
