This rental is super cute and wonderful to stay in. It's spacious and has everything you need for a stay on Kauai. There's beach gear in the closet and extra towels and blankets as needed. The sunset view from the lanai is incredible. We ate dinner outside every night. Waking up to the ocean was amazing. There's no ac but as long as you keep the windows open it cooled the place down some. If you stay here, make sure to use the grill below the condos too! They were well maintained and nothing beats a burger by the ocean.

Location was very good with just a short walk to the beach. Parking at the quiet condo was just fine. So thankful for the new staff who keep the grounds very tidy and welcoming; she also let us know about the filtered water for all guest - wonderful since the condo tap water was not good. The interior space was adequate with a comfy couch and beautiful view. Sadly, the sliding glass door was not working properly. Management sent someone quickly to move the latch to “open” but still took two strong arms of a man to open and close each time. Windows were very dirty. Thankful for the good working washer & dryer. Bed was not comfortable and all pillows were large and firm - good recipe for a sore neck. One of the 3 beach chairs was broken upon arrival along with the umbrella- sad we found that out when at the beach.

We stayed for 6 nights and i could not have asked for a better experience, we got to wake up (and fall asleep) everyday to a beautiful view of the ocean, including rainbows! It's conveniently close walk to poipu beach to see the sea turtles which is what I was most excited about. Plus the space was a 10/10 for cleanliness and very homely. We were happy to come back everyday and relax in a space that felt like a home, not just a sterile hotel room. It's been updated with modern amenities like an in unit washer/ dryer and dishwasher, plus they supplied some soaps and detergents for us so we didn't have to worry about buying that extra stuff during our stay. And it's a full kitchen with everything we needed to make meals and all utensils. The beds were also comfy and the bathroom renovated and stocked with travel goodies as well. All of this just made our travel experience quite smooth. There is no AC but that wasn't an issue for us as there were many fans available and the weather was beautiful so we opend all the window panels, it was perfect, even chilly at night sometimes with the ocean breeze coming right through the windows. We also saw the property manager almost everyday, she was so kind and knowledgeable. She helped us with every random question we had with pure excitement, so that we would have the best time on the island that we could. Nothing broke down while we were there so that was not an issue that we had to navigate. The pool always looked clean and inviting, we didnt use it because we were on the beach, but its a nice amenity included. Plus assigned parking which is convenient. I would Highly recommend sunset kahili to anyone visiting kauai, and we'll definitely be back!

We love Sunset Kahili, and will continue to return as often as we can! The Poipu area is wonderful. The view from our lanai provides not only variety, with the changing skies and beautiful sunsets, but also a sense of relaxation. The sound of the ocean adds to that sense of relaxation, Top that off with the musical score provided by tropical birds in the treetops outside the kitchen window, and you have a tropical paradise even if you never left the condo. From Sunset Kahili, one can easily walk to Poipu Beach. Each time we did, there were Green Hawaiian Sea Turtles, and endangered Monk Seals naturally basking on the sandy beach, where volunteers helped them remain undisturbed. Walking the other direction, one can walk along a rocky shore to Shipwreck Beach. On each walk, we found ever-changing beautiful scenes.

It was lovely to spend time and learn the poipu area. The unit ended up being challengins for my husband and I with some of the remotes used for the ceiling fans and TV but all worked out in the end.

The photos and listing for unit were 100% accurate, we got exactly what we were expecting! The unit was clean and comfortable. The only suggestion I would make is to install heavier, light blocking curtains on the windows facing the water. The unit faces directly west and becomes quite hot in the late afternoon. And while the ocean breeze cools the unit the rest of of the time it doesn’t help at that time of the day. We found once the unit heated up it was hard to cool down.

Had a great time. Location of the unit was great for access to a variety of beaches as well as some restaurants. The unit was also very clean and the views from the lanai are awesome. Would come here again.

Our stay was great. A combination of relaxing and sight seeing. In regards to the property, my suggestion is better window coverings or drapes. The existing ones don't keep out sunlight or heat, which was very strong between 3 and sunset. Thank you.

The stay was incredible. Beautiful view and at sunset every night we were able to see whales playing from our balcony. Place was immaculate when we arrived and the kitchen had all the tools/equipment that we needed. Washer and dryer work very well and we felt very safe on the property. Would highly recommend.Only issue was a corroded entry lock whick was difficult to access with key, and door took 2-3 slams to close and make sure it locked upon exit. Would suggest replacing.

The sight and sound of the ocean from our bedroom and lanai made every minute special! Sunset Kahili 302 was clean and comfortable. The location is easy walking to Poipu Beach. Many great restaurants are within walking or driving distance. The bathroom and kitchen were newly redone and sparkling clean. The grounds, including the plants, pool and parking lot are cleaned and attended to daily. We received helpful emails from the management, with quick answers to our questions. Checking in and out were easy. We would recommend this property to our friends, but we don't want too many people finding out what a great place it is!
