Welcome to Hale Keko (“The Monkey House”), a serene retreat tucked away at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in the upscale Princeville resort community on Kaua‘i’s breathtaking North Shore. Enjoy peaceful surroundings with a short walk to the Princeville Center’s shops and dining, or take a quick drive to Hanalei Bay or ‘Anini Beach for snorkeling, surfing, swimming, and sun-soaked relaxation.

From the moment you arrive, you’ll notice the vibrant landscaping, swaying palms lining the driveway, and colorful tropical blooms. The front porch invites you to unwind on a handcrafted wooden bench and soak in the tranquil neighborhood vibe.

Step inside to an airy, open-concept layout with beautiful hardwood floors, high ceilings, and an abundance of natural light. The living, kitchen, and dining areas flow seamlessly together, creating a perfect gathering space for friends and family. Throughout the home, you’ll find playful nods to the home’s namesake monkeys, as well as turtles, parrots, and island-inspired art. The cozy bamboo-framed couch faces a flat-screen TV with cable, DVD player, a collection of movies, and board games for fun evenings in.

The fully equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances and everything you need to cook at home. In the dining room, honu (Hawaiian sea turtle) artwork adds to the island charm, including a beautiful oil painting and copper-framed accents.

The spacious master suite offers a king bed, custom wooden furniture, his-and-hers walk-in closets, and private access to the backyard. The ensuite bath features marble floors, granite vanity, a Jacuzzi tub, and a separate walk-in shower. Two additional bedrooms offer queen beds and are equally welcoming.

Out back, relax on the covered lanai with a BBQ grill, surrounded by lush landscaping and birdsong. The view of Kaua‘i’s majestic "Bali Hai" mountain range is truly unforgettable.

This is such beautiful rental. We have stayed in Princeville, on Kauai, 4 times now, and we can't imagine ever going to another Island. This is the paradise you imagine in your head when you think of Hawaii. This condo was the first we stayed at without a ocean view, and if your looking for that neighborhood feel, with space and suitable for many people this is a great option. The artwork and the way its been decorated were such a pleasant surprise. We Truly felt like we were in a personal home. When we got to the condo we put our bags in and explored our new digs, enjoying all the little details and interesting statues situated around the unit. There were definitely the least amount of little "creatures" we have encountered in out travels there, so they have done a great job with pest control. All of out needs or any hiccups along the way were attended to very quickly, and to out satisfaction. Oceanfront has always been good to us, and we will return to their properties in the future because of this. My daughter who is 5 could not contain herself about how unbelievably relaxing the jetted tub was. Hilarious. You will not be disappointed.
