Island Dawn Benefit Concert

Anaina Hou Community Park is excited to announce the Island Dawn Benefit Concert with two nights of live improvisational dance music by an all-star lineup of musicians from The String Cheese Incident, Dead & Company, Primus, and EOTO for an explosive new musical collaboration at the Porter Pavilion on Friday, January 1, 2027 and Saturday, January 2, 2027.

Island Dawn is a benefit concert supporting Kaua’i's ongoing recovery from Hurricane Lowell. A portion of ticket sales will benefit KKCR Kaua’i Community Radio, which served as a vital lifeline during the storm, keeping residents connected with critical information when power and communications were down across the island. For more information or to make a direct donation beyond ticket purchases, visit KKCR.org.

Featuring Michael Travis (The String Cheese Incident, EOTO), Jay Lane (Dead & Company, Primus), Michael Kang (The String Cheese Incident), and Kyle Hollingsworth (The String Cheese Incident, Kyle Hollingsworth Band). With decades of musical chemistry, boundary-pushing improvisation, and genre-defying performances between them, these four musicians are coming together to create something entirely new. No two nights will be alike, and Kauaʻi is the only place to experience it!

Making its worldwide debut exclusively on Kauaʻi, this powerhouse lineup takes the stage together for the very first time, delivering two nights of spontaneous musical exploration, infectious grooves, and high-energy improvisation you won't experience anywhere else!
